I am a big fan of The Big Idea with Donny Deutsch because you have an ad man running a show where guest are leaders in business, community, politics, etc. and the common theme is the individual and their brand.
The other night Donny had David Tutera on as a guest. David is a party planner. Talk about a commodity. But David has done a great job in building a brand as "the party planner for the stars" and the guy for big bashes and every day entertaining. He has huge victories in his business like Star Jones wedding and other well-known lavish events. He has made it in his business.
His brand is becoming recognizable outside of the stars because of his brand strategy. He is an expert and proves it with his published books, media and even a T.V. show on the Discovery Home Channel. It is not so all-of-a-sudden as I respect his hard work, but all-of-a-sudden, he is everywhere.
