Steve Jobs Letter to iPhone Customers
Oh man, Apple got slammed by early buyers of the iphone with disgust the price already dropping $200 from market entry pricing. I don't think they learned how to produce it less expensive or even supply. Jobs notes, clearly in his letter to iPhone customers (or was is shareholders), you be the judge, that it is price strategy to nail holiday shopping numbers.

You will note in his letter that he is offering early buyers $100 to spend in Apple stores.

Will this effect how early adopters decide what technology to buy out of the gate from Apple or anywhere else?
