Then, with about a month left in the regular season, Todd Helton, Rockies first baseman hit a clutch game winning home run where his emotion and excitement took over the team. The usually low key veteran leader of the Rockies displayed excitement that was unusual. Turns out that was the turning point in what seemed to be another playoff-less season. Now, the Rockies are moving on to the NLCS for the first time in franchise history!
Helton and the rest of the boys believed when nobody else did. Their inspirational play ending the season with thirteen extra innings and a can't loose mentality is amazing. Going into the NLCS winning 17 of last 18 games prove the Rockies are the hottest team in baseball and it is not over. They could make history with one of the best finishes in baseball - what a time to be hot!
Denver is on fire with talk about who got tickets and faith that the Rockies will go to the World Series. This helps everyone. The positive buzz around town and local economy boost is huge for Denver. Because the MLB post season taps into the average first snow in Denver with snow already falling in the Rocky Mountains, this is sure to boost early vacation plans for Colorado bound fun seekers! Go Rockies - everybody wins!

I took my family to the only game the Rockies have lost in their last 18 - their third-to-last regular season game against the Arizona Diamondbacks, their NLCS opponent. It was great fun and there was an amazing atmosphere at the ballpark.
So ... do you live in the Denver area, David? I do (now) - if so, we ought to organize a little Know More Media Denver shindig (there are at least three or four of us here).
